The back end of the system, where grades are entered, is designed for parents. We don’t collect any information about your children except their first and last name. We also collect minimal information from the parent. So while you may certainly allow the children to view the web site or parts of it, the intent is for parents to be the primary user.
We currently have over 50 different criteria to choose from. Additional criteria will be added in the future. Send us a note if you have ideas for other criteria.
Yes, you can choose from any of the various criteria from month to month. Keep in mind that it is best to keep them the same for at least 3 months to build positive behavior and get the best results.
It’s intentionally very simple. You select a monthly grade for each of the 5 criteria that you selected when registering. The grade is one of three options: Green = Great Job; Yellow = Good Job; and Red = Needs Work. You can also add specific comments to support each of those grades. For example, if you gave a Yellow for keeping your room clean, you could say something such as, “Good job overall. Remember to pick up those dirty clothes in the closet”.
You have complete control over the monthly grade that is given as well as the overall grade. There are no complicated calculations in the background. This allows you flexibility and freedom in choosing the overall grade for the month. For example, 3 green, 1 red and 1 yellow might be a green to one parent and yellow to another. The choice is yours!
You can register as any children that are part of your direct family. Please no sharing of accounts with others. Anyone who is caught doing so will lose their membership without a refund.
It’s simple! Once you’ve entered your grades for the month, you simply select a button to finalize the report card and print it. You can also email or forward it and save it. All previous report cards are also available for you!
